Upgrade stage 4: the scripts
The PHP upgrade steps: the scripts of update/common/scripts/ and the setup commands (editor
policies, member management, user approval, ...), run through the same classes with their
default options. Refused while the database stage has pending steps (--force-order runs
anyway). Dry run unless --apply.
./console exp:upgrade:scripts
./console exp:upgrade:scripts --apply --skip=6.0.15-editor-policies
Guide: doc/eng-us/guides/upgrading-with-the-console.mdOptions
| Option | Value | Help |

--apply | Make the changes (the default is a dry run that lists them and changes nothing)
--dry-run | The default, accepted for scripts that pass it: list what would change, change nothing
--only | required | Only these steps (step ids, a comma list or repeated); an optional step runs only when named here |
--skip | required | Never these steps (step ids, a comma list or repeated) |
--format | required | text (default) or json (the machine output exp-upgrade/1) |

--force-order | Run a stage although an earlier stage has pending steps
--fail-on-pending | Exit 1 when steps are still pending (for CI)
--force-no-backup | With --no-backup on a production installation: write without a backup all the same
--no-caption | Write without taking a caption first (the same as --no-backup); refused on production without --force-no-caption
--force-no-caption | With --no-caption on a production installation: write without a caption all the same |
Read from the option definitions in the code (startup(), getOptions(), options() or ezcConsoleOption). Every script also takes the standard options of the script framework (--help, --siteaccess, --debug, --quiet, --allow-root-user ...).
