There is nothing to sign and nothing to pay. You join the Exponential Community by showing up in one of the places where people meet and taking part. These pages help you do that well.
Contents
The pages of this part
| Page | What it answers |
|---|---|
| Where people meet | Which place to use for what, with addresses |
| The code of conduct | How people treat each other, and what to do when that goes wrong |
| Introducing yourself | A short introduction that invites help and conversation |
| Asking a good question | What to include so someone can answer in one reply |
| Getting help step by step | From the help in your administration to the forums, the trackers and paid support |
| Staying informed | Releases, changelogs, the history, repository notifications |
Suggested order
Read The code of conduct and Where people meet first. Read Asking a good question before your first question, and Staying informed once you run a site you want to keep current.
Three things to know before you post
- No passwords, keys or personal data in public. Not in a forum post, a chat message or an issue (When something goes wrong).
- Security problems are private. Send them to [email protected], never to a public place (
SECURITY.md). - Free help has no answer time. People help when they can; if you cannot wait, see Getting support.
